The above definition is both related to the interpretation of the definition presented by CEDEFOP (2008) and the one applied by Eurostat (2006).

“Informal learning” is understood as a series of activities a learner undertakes in order to learn (something) autonomously and/or as the process of learning, which is a by-product of another activity (work, participation in various events or leisure activities).
